“Let me start by saying I should have written this much sooner, as my wedding took place almost five months ago, and I am very sorry it has taken me so long to write this. Honestly, I could probably write pages of all the things my husband and I loved about Neri, but I’ll try to narrow it down for everyone.
I first met Neri at a Bridal Expo about 8 months before my wedding. I had taken my maid of honour and we were both impressed by Neri’s beautiful photos, as well as her poise and the sense of tranquility that she seemed to exude. I was in the market for a photographer who would be able to create a lasting memory for my husband and I to look back on with happiness, who would be able to capture all the small moments that I knew we would miss out on or not remember as well as we would hope.
I shared Neri’s website with my fiancé and we fell in love with her style and sheer volume of photos. When I first introduced my fiancé to Neri, he felt instantly comfortable with her as well, which for us was a very important characteristic for anyone we would want involved in our very busy day.
Over the next few months before the wedding I sent Neri examples of wedding pictures whose style I liked and felt would fit my wedding. Not only did Neri take a look at the pictures, comment on them and how she could adapt them to our wedding, but she really did manage to produce pictures like the ones I was hoping for!
My fiancé and I used her photos from our studio session for our Save-the-Date cards (as we were both living in different states and it was difficult for us to coordinate a time for the normal “engagement session” when we would both be in town without having our schedules already filled up with wedding stuff). As it turned out, we asked Neri if it would be okay for her to come to our rehearsal dinner and take some time then to do our engagement photos. She graciously agreed, and we had a wonderful time with our guests and Neri!
On the wedding day itself, Neri showed up bright and early at my Mother-in-Law’s house where the bridal party was getting ready. Neri took many gorgeous shots of all of us getting ready, followed by the wedding ceremony itself, and of course, the reception. My husband and I shared the photos that Neri took with our family, and everyone is in agreement that the pictures are not only beautiful—they look like they’ve been taken right out of a bridal magazine!
I get choked up when I flip through the wonderful photobook (and when I say book, I really do mean book—not just album!) and look at my husband’s and my very special day. The pictures are exceptional! Neri captured so many moments that I knew I would overlook, all the hard effort that our families put into creating such a beautiful day, and the emotions shared by all of our guests that it’s not hard to see why I constantly refer Neri to all my friends, family, and coworkers!
Trust my husband and I: if you are looking for a photographer who knows what she’s doing, will help capture your special day with tons of beautiful pictures, keep a sense of calm and will easily direct your bridal party of 11 siblings, friends, and a 3 year old flower girl, and will be with you for as long as you wish, then I really can’t do more than tell you that Neri is the woman you need.
